Personal Profile


An ambitious and resourceful lighting and web designer who combines technical and creative skills. Experienced with Avolites, Zero 88 and ETC lighting control desks and a wide range of lighting fixtures. In web design, experience with HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL to produce websites for a variety of clients.

I am currently studying Maths/Statistics, Product Design (3D Design) and ICT at A2 level.

Employment

C W Newton (Lighting and Sound) Ltd: Setting up equipment, operating lighting control desks and de-rigging equipment. Assistance with electrical and audio systems installation.

St Michael’s Catholic Grammar School: Designed and constructed their web site.

Centre Stage Ltd: Rigging and operating lighting for a staged outdoor event.

The “Wyllyotts Theatre” in Potters Bar: Two week work experience. Designed and wrote marketing materials. Assisted with production set-up. Took orders and worked on the till in the café.

Hobbies and Interests

My interests centre around assisting local charities with any technical work. I help an Amateur Dramatic society called the Guild Players where I do the lighting design and operation for all of their productions. I am also a member of Radio Enfield, which is a hospital radio station for Chase Farm Hospital. I designed, constructed and maintain their website and I also look after their automated playout system, which is a computerised system that allows them to broadcast continuously.
