Simply described as ‘A daring new dating series that starts where some good dates might end – naked’. I was asked by Tom Sutherland, the lighting designer, if I could operate the intelligent fixtures for this show. Will Charles was the lighting director for the series, with Marc Nicholson operating the generics desk.
This consisted of operating the LED pars dotted around the studio, the LED in each of the ‘pods’ and the key lights on each pod which where PRG’s best boys.
The amount skin and flesh tone on display for this show made my role particularly difficult, having to adjust colour temperatures of the inner LED fill and best boy keys.
It was an interesting couple of weeks that made us all desensitised to the nudity on our monitors…
